Installation, Commissioning and Start-up Services

An important part of the project delivery is that our engineers will ensure that your system is installed with maximum efficiency. Working collaboratively with your project manager and engineers, our technicians have the experience to provide you with all the advice you will require while your new or upgraded system is installed.

The services that Servtech technicians provide include installation assistance to pre-commissioning and commissioning, site acceptance testing, start-up assistance and personnel introductory training. We will also advise on operating and maintenance documentation, spare parts and trouble-shooting.

This is part of the overall design verification, validation and operational readiness process. This process ensures that the system meets specification and that operations can accept responsibility for safe and efficient operation of the asset.

The process is achieved through the production and implementation of commissioning and start-up procedures which are generally witnessed and approved by offshore operations and an independent verification body.

The aim of the Servtech team is to ensure the equipment is commissioned in a safe and controlled manner while confirming compliance with the design intent and demonstrating system and equipment performance.

Lessons learned from our past projects have shown that more commissioning is required during both the engineering and the construction phases to ensure that quality and operability are maintained throughout the project life cycle. That is why we propose early involvement in the project to facilitate a systematic, efficient and flawless transfer from contractor to operations.
